Hi after some help, VW golf air con stopped working, went to check pressure to think about re gassing, pressure was over 100psi thus seems maybe fault other than that maybe compressor? Having looked some suggestions were to remover fuses. So went into engine fuse box and checked the fuses, all seemed ok Air con fuse wasn't listed so checked them all, in doing so I removed a fuse that I replaced incorrectly. This caused the engine to start but not run sorted this out but car runs ok but Air Bag warning light now comes on, could this have been as a result of this error? Any ideas?

Ideally you need a fault code scan and a diagnostics like vcds to clear the airbag light.

Anyone know anywhere in Bristol to get that done cheaply?

I've had the air bag light come on recently, I scanned for the fault and it turned out to be the harness connection block under the drivers seat, looks like i'm going to have to get the tools out and delete the connector block and hard wire them together.
This is a very common fault by all accounts, I need to fix it before the next mot (any sort of warning lights are now a failure).
All the best dude
