120bhp is fine on the motorway, my 105bhp 1.9 tdi a3 pulls fine in 5th gear when cruising.

welcome to vwaf ;)

Don'f forget this car can be bought brand new for £375 more than this second hand price! it won't have the AMI / HDD Nav / folding mirrors / front sensors, but new models come with power tail boot lid and DAB now.

hi there thanks for the reply, do you mean £3750? or am seriously missing something here.
if so i did think about that but already pushing my budget. Just been on site to try and price this car up from new, not sure if i priced correctly as advertised but it came to about £27K :aargh4: without the extras. Just trying to get my head round the trims for this car se, s , black edition etc.

This is a latest model? so i think it should come with DAB

Many thanks

new models from last month came with DAB and power tailgate on avant, so this won't have that.

I got the price from drivethedeal also. they will get you in contact with a dealer for the price they state. or as in my case 12 months ago, you just give the price to your dealer and ask them to match it! I did and they beat it a bit.

12 month old or less cars are not that much different to discounted new prices!

well had a test drive over the w/e. nice car, had nice extras like sensors on back and front, hdd sat nav, did like the stop start feature, car itself look in cracking condition ...dealer said no previous owner(s) when it came down to price they couldnt even knock a penny off, but they could do some deals on gap insurance, finance, scotch protector, none of which im interested in. Its been in their show room for 3 months, and i mean they couldnt take anything off the price, they "said" the profit on the car would be no more than £500. ive had a quick look on the audi used cars website for some cars with near enough the same specs, but this is one of the cheapest apart from another one which is over 200+ miles away same price near enough but with B & O speakers...anyhow i had to leave the dealer as i had to be somewhere, but i thinking of going back within the next few weeks, and see if they knock anything off, or will they chuck in some extras like privacy glass?..anything i could do the get some sort of a deal, i mean as the dealer said if its such a high spec car for the price, why is it still sitting on their forecourts......or shall i wait till september then im assuming prices should fall.

What a cracking looking car and spec. I had similar in saloon form 120 bhp but coming from a 320d 150 bhp it certainly felt slower. After the initial newness of the car has gone you might wish you got something more powerful , that said depends what your driving now ,should be fine on motorway but its a big car. Good luck whatever you decide.
