Figured seeing as i'm bored i'd post this up here (probably the most boring post ever...but it might provide someone with 10 seconds of amusement.

So I used to have this wee little runaround, to cut a long story short bought this as a runaround whilst saving for a house with the missus , ended up keeping it 3 years and doing some odds and ends to make it less shopping car (stainless steel weitec coilovers, slightly bigger OEM wheels , premium tyres and some other minor odds and ends).

But all things must come to an end, and got offered a car i'd fancied for a while for less than i thought it would be...

So the Arosa was sold off for not a lot of money (but someone got a good car) and its place is...

In its favour, its immaculate, comfortable, i've known its history from new, its showing a smidge over 80k on the clock and it bought it very cheaply.

Bought it as a fleet disposal, so paid trade money for it... luckily the previous driver was my old man, whose driving could be best described as gentle, so it really is immaculate.

Currently suffering from sawtoothed rear tyres :( , but probably going to get some 17's for winter with winter tyres, and then hopefully some OEM 19 peelers and subtle drop in the summer next year

...and as for the plate i'm expecting the hatred of PH, but i stand by the fact it was cheap, makes me smile it's spaced legally, and its not that chavvy ;)

That interior on the A4 looks mint- no steering wheel shine which is pretty good going at 80k miles, nice upgrade to the little Seat!

I need to give the inside a clean tomorrow... i'll try to grab some more pics of it to show the overall condition.

It literally is like a 30k car

Well i said tomorrow, but i had to pop out to the garage to grab a bottle of plonk which meant moving the car, so grabbed some pics...

A general no dent photo

The chippy front end...

the one annoying dent on the car! (you'll need to look at the reflection of the houses)

So there we go, shows how resilient these cars are if looked after

Very nice, but I am a little surprised that you propose to fit 19" wheels and probably

harden the ride even more! I find my Sline is quite hard enough on poorly maintained roads.

I also will be considering 17" rims for the winter tyres though.

check prices on 19'' rubber before buying, otherwise you end up with the worst possible chinese tyres because everything else is so blooming expensive.

£1000 for 4x Michelin PS2 255/35/19 :(

Definitely got my money's worth, 32k and still going strong on the rears. 31k out of the fronts.

Don't ruin your car with cheap Chinese tat!

that sort of money usually buys me a car and all the parts and tyres for it for that sort of mileage :)

I personally find the ride on it very compliant, i've said many a time i don't see what the fuss over s-line suspension is, i can only imagine se spec gear to be like piloting a rather wobbly boat?!

However it should be mentioned that the arosa above was on coilovers and i put 50k on it over 2 years, and below is a couple of my previous cars...

Reason I want 19's is purely aesthetic really.
