2010 Q7 with electric seats, but want to retrofit the memeory module and door switch
I have the correct memory module and door switch, but need help with what additioal wiring is needed
Looking at vm/audi docs , i can see that it may have most conenctors for the module and door switch, but i think there maybe additional wiring needed from the stepper motors under the seat to the memory module.
Can anybody point me in the right direction, has anybody achievd this ?

Have a look on Kufatec, they do looms for this sort of stuff, I have got my AMI loom from them and it was fine.

Curiosity got the better of me....
I'm assuming its the "memory seat switch" we're talking about here?
Perhaps one of the mods can correct the spelling? It may help others in future but seta switch may be harder to find...........just a thought!

Hi Spud, sorry I don't have any input that will help on the seat question I'm afraid.
I knew it was probably a typo, I make loads myself mate and wasn't having a go.
Its just that if that's corrected it may help to direct someone to the thread that can help you.
Good luck

Yeah looks good Spud.........some of those forums that are US / Canadian based have some really good techy types and some excellent fixes.
I find this on some other sites I frequent too.
Hope you get it resolved mate
Do your seats have the intelligent bus connected modules fitted, should be 760D units afaik & there are 8 wires to run into the door module from the switch pack & a link wire from drivers seat through the car into the drivers door to the door module.
We could wire this all in for you if interested, if modules aren't fitted already, which I suspect they are anyway, then they will need component protection removed when fitted.

Not sure what you mean by "intelligent bus connected modules fitted" ??
Its a 2010 Q7 S-Line - it has electric/heated front seats, and i have the memory seat module for drivers seat an dthe door switch for the drivers side.
I have not lifted seat to see whats underneath, i am looking at what extra wires i will need to connect everything up.

Very interested in this mod also...
How can yo tell if the seats have intelligent bus connected modules fitted? Can you tell by looking under the seat???
Can the component protection be deactived using VCDS?
