Hi,
I wonder if any fellow forum-istas have any ideas on this issue - I don't think I have seen it come up on any threads in the last 2 years.
My 3.0 TDI Quattro (FSH, 75K miles) has changed its "off-idle" throttle response - it now feels as if it has what I would describe as a flat spot. It seems to have lost its progression just off idle - above the first few mm of travel it is normal but there's now a definite dead spot, and you need to push past it to get any meaningful acceleration. No smoking or other issues are noted, fuel consumption normal, no error codes or limp-home malarkey.
Any ideas? The car is still perfectly driveable (only let down by the driver :-)) but it needs to be dependable and if its about to go wrong it would be great to hear this from anybody that has an inkling of the cause or maybe has experienced the same.
Many Thanks!
