VW Neyland (Pembrokeshire)

I have had nothing but trouble with this dealership, firstly they charged me for work that had not been done on a service. I challenged this and was quickly refunded. Recently the engine on my VW Golf completely messed up. VW gave me a brand new engine within days (apparenty unusual but the issue I had is NOT a one off) and then Neyland not only ripped me off by charging £940 labour, but whilst the car was in their garage a £200 kite mysteriously vanished from the boot of my car.
I have contacted customer support, however they are denying any fault on their part.

I URGE ANY AND ALL POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS DEALERSHIP !! :aargh4:

I know it's not always convenient but I recommend emptying everything valuable out of the car before taking to any garage- I had £50 nicked from the ashtray once and they denied it, it makes you doo-lally wondering if it was actually in there...

You say they gave you a new engine, was this a warranty job?, bit cheeky to charge for labour where they should be getting this back of VW

Would be very interesting to hear what VW Neyland have to say fotr themselves as they never telephoned me, even though I was told by customer satisfaction team that they would ....... Clearly a guilty consience

they are one of the local dealers i sometimes use and know a few people that use them and have never heard a bad word about them.

Since my original issue with this dealership I have asked many people about their experiences with them. A lot of people have said that they are overpriced and tend to do work that is not always needed. Many people that I spoke to would rather use an alternative garage for repairs and servicing.

i am not trying to defend them, just saying i have not heard anything bad about them, unklike some other dealers (non vag) based close by
