Ambient Air Temperature Sensor

Hi,

Am hoping someone can help. I have an A4 B8 estate but doubt this makes much difference to my question.

My ambient air temperature sensor is reading around 6-8 degrees high. On inspection I have noticed the sensor is just dangling by the cable in front of the radiator and not attached to anything. I am assuming this is why my readings are off... So my question is where does the sensor mount/fit to?

Any advice / photos of where it should be mounted would be appreciated.

Hi Richard.
Open your bonnet,down the bottom infront of the air con rad there is a bracket.it pushes into it.
