A8 quattro Executive L on a 62 Plate.... very nice, but have to say its an uber barge :-)
MPG in the short distance I drove it was hitting 35MPG+.... impressive for such a sized vehicle.

Any pics?
I had a A8L on loan back in 2010, I got lost in the back seat there was that much room!
Derv I take it?

Its sat outside so I will take a few snaps tomorrow before I pick up mine if you want, yes a Derv, so I think perhaps a 3 litre ?
It has monster leg room in the back, you could have had a sheep dip behind the drivers seat, haven't even been in the boot, so expect a complete Narnia/Tardis experience.

I have had a hankering for an A8 since the late 90's ones came out - don't think I could afford to run one, but they look like my kind of motor!

Always thought the A8 was just too big and looked out of proportion. Same with the rover 820 (that's going back a few years though).
Other big cars (Jags etc) seemed to be better proportioned.

The A8 was the only big car other than a Jag that I liked - wasn't a fan of the Lexus/Mercedes etc.

Totally agree. However, Saw the new A8 at Southend Audi a few weeks back and the proportion seems to be much better. Its like someone took an A4 and put it on steroids...except all of the car has scaled correctly this time. I think a lottery win would see me own one (especially with the V8 TDi under the bonnet) but I would hate to have to park it anywhere...
