Airbag lamp/fault

Hi guys and girls, just driving my 2009 Passat today and the Airbag lamp came on and now its says everytime I start up Airbag fault. Not done anything out of the ordinary, just drove from Bulford Camp to Southhampton and back. Any ideas on how to fix it or what it may be...apart from the obvious...an Airbag. Cheers Kelv

Common problem usually connectors under the seat. Best to get it scanned to confirm & clear error codes. In the end I had the wiring fixed as was costing me £'s to keeping bunging £10 to techies at the back of VAG dealers.
