Hi every one, hopefully someone can advise me please, my 2000my Passat B5 drove home then wouldn't start next day, just turning over. Checked the relay, ok, put power to the pump and it buzzed in the tank but no fuel out of the hose at the filter. there are two connectors on the tank, one with 4 wires which I believe are the feed to the pump and the fuel guage, and the second connector with just two wires which i'm not sure about. Has anyone got any ideas what to try next please!, thanks

I think there is a fuel stop solenoid valve that cuts fuel off to stop the engine, sounds like this could be the problem?
Other than that, if you are sure there is enough fuel in the tank, there would have to be something wrong with the pump itself or a blocked inlet to it/delivery line from it?
