Hi all,
I've just bought a 2010 A4 Avant S Line Special Edition Quattro in Quartz Grey and it is going to seem like a long four days before I pick it up on Friday. I've spent quite a bit of time here today reading this and that trying to get ready. The A4 seems to have everything I need but given the spec I'm a bit surprised there is no nav but that is not a big deal for me.
My father has had a few VWs, my better half used to have a mkIV Golf GT TDI and regrets chopping it in for a Ford. As for me, I've never been a VAG owner so I thought it was about time.
I have an MG TF, which has been worked over and is mainly used as a track car despite remaining street legal but I've just sold a Range Rover Sport and the A4 is replacing that as the family car. Previous car history is long and varied from highs like a 1982 Lotus Sunbeam and a 1984 Alfa Romeo Alfasud tii Green Cloverleaf to the lows like a 1978 mkIV Cortina and a Renault 11.
I'm now off to the B8 forum to ask a lot of newbie questions.
