Error Code P2263

My 2006 1.4 TSI had a warning light for Emissions System or Exhuast system or something like that.

I was on holiday so drove about 500 miles with the light on. The car feels completely fine, no noises, smells or drop in performance or economy. I scanned it with an OBD reader now I am home and got one instance of the error code P2263.

I cleared the code for now, hoping it is a one off. Anyone have any idea what the code is for? I looked but couldn't find much, only that it could be to do with the turbo/supercharger - is there any checks that I could do?

Any help would be appreciated. I went on a 500 mile trip, and the light came on whilst I was accelerating in an overtake.

I have another instance of the same code. Google seems to say its a turbocharger performance error, any help on what I can do? Are there any checks of seals/hoses/oil that I can do at home by myself? Should I get it looked at, or just live with it until next service (7000 miles)?

The engine oil level is fine.

Take it to VW to get looked at as it could be the start of something bigger about to happen. Get it looked at asap or it may cost you more when something fails.
