Hello everyone. I must admit I thought I'd been a member here for some time but my post count says different. Anyway here I am now. I am currently the proud owner of a black A3 1.8 TFSI and a silver MK1 TT 225BHP. The latter is supposed to be my Wife's car and I'm happy to let her think that it is. I have an almost unbroken history of VAG cars covering 37 years of driving starting with my first car a 1972 VW Beetle 1300 followed by: 1975 VW Beetle 1303S, 1976 VW Passat 1600 Estate, 1985 Audi 80 sport, 1986 Audi 90 Quattro, 1988 Audi 90 Quattro, 1991 Audi 90 20 Valve. In 2006 I bought a Volvo S70 and my wife ran the 90 20V until 2010 when I replaced it with a Honda Civic which was a big mistake. Now we are a two Audi family again and perfectly happy. The list above is also the total number of cars I have personally owned which says a lot about the longevity and satisfaction factor of VAG vehicles. I actually kept the 80 Sport for thirteen years and it was still running sweet with 225,000 miles on the clock, not bad for a petrol engine. I am now a driver trainer with a previous motor-trade background. I have a wealth of experience and I hope I can become a valuable contributor to VWAF. Cheers.
