Thought I would let cabrio owners know that I bought Autoglym (http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=autoglym) roof cleaner (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Autoglym-Cab.../dp/B006R4HEBG (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Autoglym-Cabriolet-Fabric-Hood-Cleaning/dp/B006R4HEBG)) for the convertible and I am really impressed. When I bought the car the roof was a hint of green and a big wet sponge...but now it looks blue again and the water just sits on the top. OK, I've given the it two applications of cleaner and protector, but it's done the job!

You've made a lovely job and your roof will really benefit from that extra bit of TLC. It amazes me how many people leave a convertible out in all weathers and let the roof fade and discolour. A young woman I know has moss and lichen growing on her TT convertible. She has no shame.

I use Renovo 'Ultra proofer' which you can buy on-line in 1 litre bottles that will do two generous treatments on an A4. They recommend that it's done twice a year to maintain the protection. If the roof is looking 'tired' Renovo Reviver will bring it back to as new condition prior to re-proofing.

Usual disclaimers. Just a satisfied user.

Nice to see someone taking care of here hood. I used the Gtechnic nano stuff on the Daughter in laws cabby, very impressive result. I suppose I'll have to do the S4 cabby at some point.

Thanks guys. So are the products you use just a protector or do they also clean?
