Top banana imo can't beat a proper Volvo, S80 is on my wishlist as we speak, I know the car is old now but the seats and the general class look seals it for me.

Nice motor! A colleague treated himself to a V70 D5 on a 10-plate last weekend, and it is absolutely loaded. Best of all, the seats are still true Volvo seats - THE most comfortable, bar none. VAG could learn a trick or two about seats from Volvo.

Thanks guys. They really do make good seats and this one being an R model is half leather half alcantara, heated and electric with memory. The suspention set up is lower that a T5 thanks to Porsche but the seat absorbe the stiff ride and the lambda adjusment does the trick to my bad back.I had an S80 2.5tdi vw engine that was very briilliant on fuel and just floated and the road.I prefer the old school because they are made before Ford interfered.I`m waiting for a mapped ecu next week that`ll bring it to 270bhp and loads of torque and with some bits and bobs can get to 300bhp.

thats a lot of power for a FWD car thats on the limits of grip anyway so i think any tyre would struggle for grip when the right foot is planted. :)
but, its a good alternative to an s4.

I love s/rs 4/6 but the running costs on repairs etc are totally mad where is I`m running about 270bhp and loads of torque and can get a replacement engine and auto box for £300 max. Therefore I prefer the diesel side of VAG.By the way I`ve driven mymates golf 4 last night which has a wide body kit fitted, front tyres are 255 and rear 295 it sits like on the rails and instead of 1.4 on V5 it has a modified and mapped 2.8 lump in it,that car does shift tbh and looks the nuts.I`ll take a picture later on post on here.

It is.I just found out he hasn`t got the v5 in his hands yet to rectify it but thats not the reason y insurance is high but the reason is that too many people make a false claims.

I saw that front bumper used on a copper coloured C70 Convertible the other day - which gave the car a bit of an edge.

Very nice.
A work colleague has just purchased a T6. About 320bhp. He uses it regularly too. Will just bugger off up to Scotland or Wales at the weekend for fun. Oh not to have a mortgage or rent to pay :D
