Gave my car its yearly 2 day detail :-):-):-):-) Out today getting a bit of a attention. In the beer garden, when a guy has just asked is it for sale :-):-)
Just driving home and bing air bag fault. :-(:-(:-(:-(:-(:-( Tried battery reset but its still there. Apart from getting a scan any ideas?

Connector underneath pax seat? If so, after you've fixed, fault light will have to be cleared with VCDS I believe

Just looked under both seats. Connectors all look a OK:-( going to pop up to my mates Tue & get it scanned.

I seem to remember VW had so many of these, dealers were advised by VW to remove the connectors and make crimped connections, crazy but true. So connectors may well look ok but oxidation causes them to fail. Of course it may not be your under seat connectors at all.
