If you don't have Tyre Pressure Monitoring System or you want to avoid the costs of replacing individual TPMS sensors
then it's possible with VCDS and your existing setup. Postings in other forums say this can only be done with a Golf mkV and VI ABS controller. But I've just done this with my Passat and seems to be working!
Welp, all tested and now working -- even with my '06 ESP 440 ABS controller. The icon appeared after about 40 miles of mixed motorway and in-town driving. Went for coffee, came back. switched on and there it was. Didn't need to go ferreting around my Module 17 Instruments nor change that coding from original.
If anyone's wanting to try this with their non-MK60EC1 ABS controller be aware that results could be different than the various how-to postings in various forums.
PM me your e-mail address and I'll send you a Word doc of what I've done.http://www.vwvortex.com/Anthony/Smilies/c3.gif
