Just got a 06' Passat 2.0 Sport Estate so figured I'd join. Already getting the typical faults on it (doors not opening from the outside sometimes) and have an alternator pulley fault already.. alas!

I look forward to joining in on banter etc. :)

Hi, welcome! Does that alternator pulley mean you have a rattle loud idle? I get that too

It does. It actually turned out to be a loose EGR valve!
