Does anybody help me re-set the Service notification on my dashboard?

Hi Mine is Audi A4 2Tdi 59-2009 registration. A service notification 1000 miles or 275 days or to that effect appeared in December 2012. I took it this time to an independent garage and he'd done the servicing as per the the Audi log book & changed the oil next change re-set. However I keep getting this next service in 1000 miles or 275 days./ How could I get this reset? I read the Audi Service Schedule & the Owner's Manual but unable to find an answer. Can anyone with knowledge help me out, please. Regards

You need it reset with VCDS or similar.

I take it he done the inspection service at the same time as the oil change hence why you're getting the message now?

He's done
1.Oil Change
2.Inspection
3.Dust and Pollen Filter element
4.Air Filter
5.Fuel Filter
for my car that has done 35,237 miles. [First service was done by Audi in Sept 2011 at 16839 miles with Oil Change, Inspection & Dust and pollen filter element changed]

Would any independent mechanic have VCDS?

What can I do to reset?

Any VAG specialist will have it.

They will know how to reset the reminder.
