help sat nav

hi i have 55 plate a3 2.0 tdi ,my friends got a a4 07 plate 1.9tdi and im looking at his double din sat nav stereo
will it fit into my a3 where is sat nav disc located and what else will i need to do to get it to work ?

I won't fit as the fascia plate is different for the B7 as it is a square top whereas the A3 has rounded top corners.

You can change the fascia plate but they are expensive and rare.

Disc is located behind the screen, the button to retract the screen is beside the volume button.

That is, of course, we are talking about the RNSE.

thanks so i need to change facia on stereo or console ? if stereo where do purchase rounded stereo facia
then its just a case of buying plug in gps aerial and disc and away i go ??
