I will be using Autosmart G101 on my door hinges in the next week and will need to re-grease the hinges.

What are we all using?

Any to stay away from?

I used some Plastilube from when I did my brakes, has some good properties... Link:- http://tds.loctite.com/tds5/docs/PLASTILUBE-EN.PDF

Got mine from Audi dealer P/N: 111 999 319 description on invoice AA3 PLASTILUBE price £3.99 (35ml)....

Alternative is Pagid Cera-Tec 75ml (Brake pad anti-squeal paste) £3.71 from Eurocarparts P/N:526770250...

I'd use something thick and black.

Plastilube is non-drip... even when heated to temps that pads can get...
So very thick and tacky at ambient atmospheric conditions...
Also can withstand water hits very well...
I applied some to a hinge months ago and never needed to reapply :) ...
