Hi

Just wondered if anyone else has had issues with the sat nav.

Couple of times I have been in the middle if a city, last week it was London. I keyed in my home address and it picks my current location as a few hundred yards away rendering all instructions and close in maps as useless.

Two ways around it seem to be to zoom out on the map and use the map the old fashioned way. Second way is to aimlessly drive around looking for more open space to get current location correctly then all sorted.

It's seems fine driving into the city, I guess it must store data, the problem is starting your journey surrounded by tall buildings.

Anyone else found this? Any better solutions for sorting it out?

Thanks

The tall buildings are blocking the GPS signal ;)

Just returning to this as it has been getting worse, had issues on m5 north of Bristol recently where it put me 400 yards away from real location and hence on different road. Also had issues around Derby. Checked the status of satellites in the nav and it said 0 sats. Cross referenced with my iPhone which picked up GPS no probs.

Anyone had anything similar to this?

Get it back into Audi - obviously a GPS antenna problem.

Will be fixed under warranty.
