2010 2.0 TDI 170 Manual Oil Consumption

I have had my car since new. Since I had my 2 year service last September when it had done 12,600 miles I have put
2 litres of oil in as per the oil warning light coming on-I have now done 16,600 miles. Up until the last service I never had to add oil in between annual services. Is this 'normal' or is my oil use excessive? Should I get it checked out?

I'd be checking that out - my 1.9 TDI uses no oil at all between 10k services.

Hi Chris,
I think you're right. Friend of mine has an A6 diesel and never has to add oil-have booked mine in for a check!
