Hi
This sort of runs alongside the MPG thread currently running, but I wondered what total miles you had on average per tank?
Reason I ask is since I bought my 1.9 tdi estate in November last year, I'm wondering what total is decent for this car.
Best total I have had so far was 700 miles, which included commuting as well as a couple of longer journeys. This harsh winter seems not to be helping at the moment, having just scraped 620 miles out of the last tank. On average I am looking at 650-680 per tank.
I fully expect this to increase in slightly warmer weather but wondered how much this is in line with other people's experiences?
Thanks!

What size is the tank bud?
I usually get 6-680 out of 55 litres on my 1.9 TDIe A3.

Ok, the Passat tank is 70 litres, but Chris your car is the TDI-e which is super-economical like the bluemotion so I'd expect very good figures from that!
Just wondering how much difference to expect in the warmer months from those who have owned them.
Cheers.

Colder weather has taken a hit on the MPG - I usually see high 60's/low 70's (100 miles per day all motorway) but I struggle to see mid 60's during the winter months.
This has obviously taken a hit on the range - more like 520-550 per tank. Also the aircon is never off.

2.0 PD DSG non DPF 140BHP
450 miles per tank average give or take 20 miles each way 90% urban.

I generally get low to mid 600's in my manual 2.0 tdi 140 sport. Mostly done commuting from north Birmingham to Warwick but also a fair bit of urban driving at the weekends. Air con always on tho.

Usually 690-720 on a tank, mixed driving, mostly the 35 mile commute with the last 5 sat in traffic.

I'm afraid I've never filled mine, sorry :(
I stick in £40 at a time which feels like more than enough to be spending, thank you very much.
70 litres, more or less £100. That makes my spine tingle.
I know I'll spend that over a month, but I can't bring myself to do it all in the one chunk.
Guess I should man up and just do it.
