door edge protectors

Hi wanting to know if anyone knows where i can get door edge protectors for my MK5 golf i have tried the long strip type but this doesnt fit because there is nowhere for the inner part to go
i have seen the carbon look ones but these are very short which wiould mean sticking 2 or more on each door
any ideas on solving this problem would be great

I believe I saw some when I was in halfords the other day. They were about 2-3 inches long, and the packet said the were easy fit (ie, the rubber bends to fit the contour of your door).
