Evening folks,

Forum virgin so please bear with me!

I'm looking to retrofit a cd changer to the glove box of a 2005 A3 which came with the standard non cd changer glove box. Happy to source the cables and changer but does anyone know how to get the pre cut cd glove box liner? Is it possible to buy the audio ready liner separately and swap it with the existing or is it a whole new glove box job? Seen the very neat custom work done on others box but not fancying that level of cutting and drilling!

Any help much appreciated,

cheers

Which CD player do you have fitted?

Ideally you should get a new glovebox with the cd slot already manufactured into it if you're not wanting to drill/cut.

Thanks for the rapid response appreciated!!

Had seen that on eBay and that what stated the thought about a separate liner. Looking at an eBay purchase of an original audi changer taken from an A4 part number 8eo 035 111 d connecting to a concert II h/u.

Is there a separate part number for a liner or is just a simple case of not existing and easier just to canabalise a second hand one? Take it the liners can just be swapped without complete glove box removal?

thanks again!
