Hi all,

About a week ago, while driving, the whole MMI system shut down for about 5 seconds, then all came back on.
when it went off, the screen closed, and all the buttons and lights, in the centre console, went off.

after this, everything worked as usual, but a couple of days later, I was going down the motorway, and went to switch on the cruise control.
When I flicked on the stalk, the red LEDs round the speedo lit up, but when I went to set it, the LEDs went off, and it said "ACC not operating" (or words to that effect) on the dash display.

I've tried to operate a few more times, but with the same result.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
or, can anyone recommend somebody to mend this, in the East Midlands, if possible.

Cheers Frank.

Is adaptive cruise control still an option if you go to car=>systems on the mmi?

you need a fault code scan done.

Yes it's still in the options menu.

it looks like it, but I don't know anywhere near me to take it, up to now, in the nearly 2 years I've owned it, I've done all the work on it, I've never took it to anybody.
