A4 143 handbrake or injector issues?

Can anyone pls confirm if the B8 A4 (143) suffers from same EPB motor failure that the Passat suffers from?.Also have their been any known issues with injectors on the B8 2.0 tdi or was this purely confined to the B7 Audi and B6 passats?.
Am tempted to buy a B7 A4 1.9 to avoid Passat B6 EPB issues but much prefer the look of the B8.

Not as far as I am aware.

My 2009 B8 143 is now at 136k miles and still going strong....... never had a problem.

Go with the B8, you will not regret it, awesome car.

They are not all start/stop, but even if it has, its not that bad, (mine has it) and there is a button to turn it off if you dont want it on.

Stop start in 143 when 2010 model came in. Anything on a 59 plate or after should be stop start.

I've recently moved from a B6 Passat to a B8 A4 Avant 143 with stop/start, and the A4 is a far superior machine. You won't be disappointed :)
