Clicking noise from steering wheel

When my A4 B8 has been driven for at least 10 mins there is a noticeable click coming from the steering wheel. Very obvious when manoeuvring or turning the wheel when stationery. Wheel only needs to be turned less than a quarter. Any suggestions? Local dealer wants to charge to diagnose....

Hard to say without hearing it but you should NEVER turn the steering wheel unless the vehicle is moving.
