A3 engine 1.6 BLP? can I fit a BLF?

Just got an audi A3 2004 with a knackered engine it is a 1.6 16v BLP. i have found a 1.6 VW BLF engine localy and have noticed that on ebay when people list a BLP engine they list it as a BLP, BAG and BLF. has any one had any experiance with these engines? are they the same? can i fit a BLF in my car or do i need to be careful?Thanks in advance.

Thank you all for your help on this matter :), I bought the engine and fitted it and I pleased to announce it works a treat so if anyone stumbles across this thread in the future the answer is yes, a BLP engine can successfully be swapped for a BLF

Hello guys im new here and i hope you can help me im interesting in this topic .
I have mk5 1.6 2004 bag fsi engine and i want to swap it to blf 2008 engine . What i should change too to do this .thank you
