Phone button no bluetooth?

New to VW (2007 (57) Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDi 'SE' DSG Automatic) and the forums noticed I have a phone button on the steering wheel. I suspect that the car supports but did not include the bluetooth module. I went thru the mfd, and couldn't find any mention of the phone, or information on how to pair my phone with the car.

Is there a way to verify? 2007 Passat headunit without the nav, and red mfd.

Look under the drivers seat to see if there is a control unit wrapped in a styrofoam holder.

Sometimes under the passenger seat. If all you find under either is bits of fluff and chewing gum, you ain't got he factory fit kit.

There are others you can fit that will use the multifunction steeering wheel.
