Hello all since i.m having a total mare with my cam chain snapping (see previous posts) I've found an ALT engine in a scrapyard and was wondering would the camshafts etc fit the AWA engine or is it a no go! I would still change the chains etc for new but as both cam chain sprockets have teeth missing and costing £225 each plus vat:aargh4: I'm looking at about £1100 for all my gear to complete, I know they have a different part numbers on the AWA and ALT but what is difference, possibly cam profiles? your thoughts and comments are greatly received cos I am very tempted but not sure :beerchug:
