Hello all,
Is it possible to fit S3 DRL bi-xenon lights to an A3 S-LINE 56 plate 8P model?
thanks
Depends which year lights, if they're 06-08 then yes, facelift led drl's no, not wiothout a front end conversion, but needs wiring, coding & specific modules to be able to do this, I do it fairly often & there are hurdles you need to be aware of, plus need the right tools to do so, namely vcds.

what cost could i be looking at by fitting S3 lights to my A3 then?
Which year version headlights did you want to fit?

id be looking to fit bi-xenons to the car, so id assume that could be from any 06-08 S3 5 door. As your previous post states the DRL version on the models 09 onwards will require alot of mods.
Well that would of depended on your other thread discussion of front end etc, so couldnt be sure which.
Also if you wanted to fit levelling systems & headlight washers required by mot.

Hi, I have an 8P its a 61 reg but was built in feb 2012 which means its a nightmare for me to figure out if its pre or post facelift! I am looking to buy these LEDs: Original Hella Audi A3 S3 8P Facelift Xenon Headlights LED Day Model 2009- | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-Hella-Audi-A3-S3-8P-OEM-Facelift-Xenon-Headlights-LED-Day-Model-2009/261180582767?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.RVI%26ao%3D1%2 6asc%3D20131017132637%26meid%3D6163258594385628175 %26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D20131017132637%26rk%3D1%26 rkt%3D4%26sd%3D261180582767) to it. I have read about fitting washers and levelling systems.. I just want to know if these lights will be compatible with my model car and also roughly how much would I be looking at to get them fitted? Trying to weigh up if its going to be worth me buying Audi lights or simply going down the Dayline route
Thanks in advance!

Facelift started in MY2009.
Should be compatible but you need the other parts is headlamp washers and self beam levellers too. Kufatec sell these so look at their website.

They will fit yes, but make sure they're rhd, even if they state they are, check part numbers 100% before buying.
We supply/fit all these systems if interested & on your doorstep possibly :)

nice one.. looks like its gonna be a mini project then.. will have to start putting the pennies aside for a new front bumper and washers and levellers.. will all be worth it in the end :D
nice one bud, I don't know any audi fitters off hand so will defo keep you in mind for the fitting once I've got my hands on all the parts needed
From a legal pov, I am obliged to advise of the systems that maybe needed for an mot pass, however what you choose to do is your choice & I've installed for numerous clients & nobody has reported a failure with the 2 systems not fitted, although I always encourage them to fit, so I can fit the headlights without as long as you accept I have advised you of what may happen come mot time.

Id rather have the levellers in as I don't want to be one of those idiots that blinds everyone he drives past! if I do it I will do it properly, plus as you say come MOT time I might regret not doing it properly
We can supply/fit the whole lot, its not cheap, but it gives you peace of mind of not having to find all the correct parts then.
