a4 avant s line 2008

hi i am looking to purchase a a4 avant s line 2008 it will be the first time i will of had an audi and wondered if there was any common issues to look out for the car im going to view has 68000 miles heres a link to the pic although it has sline badges on the side but not in the front grill ?? any help and advice apreciated thanks colin http://www.stratstone.com/VehicleSearch/Used/audi-used-car-NL08JZA.html?qs=False&type=1

B8 A4's don't have the badge on the grill...... but many of us retro fit one off ebay! (looks better IMHO!)

I've hit 134,000 in mine with no major issues at all, but its had proper dealer servicing at the right times. Only issue I really know about it clutch/flywheel issues, but at the age and mileage you are looking at, it should either have been sorted by now, or not had the problem in the first place.

thanks for the reply was wondering bout servicing am i right in thinking it should of had a timing belt by about 60k what do you think bout the pricing of the car cheers colin ??

hi viewed the car today and love it . just a couple issues paint flaking and liitle rust on nsf arch on inside. scrape on front bumper . and felt a little sluggish in first when pulling away but fine in top gears could it just be the ecu needs a reset to remapp ecu ?? other than that i think we will buy it :biglaugh:

You'll find the 143 Tdi can bog down a bit a very low revs. I found I needed to adjust my driving a little, pull away with a bit more revs than you would expect in the diesel and you'll find its quite nippy!
