Do your heated seats warm up quite quickly. I imagine most are using them at this time of year.

Yes they do - especially on number 6 :)

especially on number 6

Number 6? Six?!? You must be frying eggs at 6! Each of the four heated seats in mine has a multi-press button for off/1/2/3. How on Earth do you get up to 6?

Those were the days......6 settings on the C6 models. Setting #6 has only ever been used by the kids in summer before getting out of the car to fry my @r5e the next time I get in.

Extreme winter use for demands 4 max!

3 settings on the C7. TBH, they don't actually heat up that quickly. My previous BMW was faster.

Nice and toasty when they do though!

6 settings on the C6 models Ah-ha, erroneous C6 data being posted in the C7 forum. Tsk-tsk. I was starting to assume that if someone had a 4, 5 and 6 setting on the C7 they must have specified the optional Barbecue Pack.

I never have mine on anything above 2. They do seem to get hot much quicker than my C6 seats did, though.

Oh get over it!

They are very toasty I may add!

Audi heated seats have been down rated on all models from 2 or so years ago

3 setting is still far too hot. I sometimes use 2, mostly 1.

I tend to fire them up on 3 and then they rather impressively automatically drop themselves down to 2 once hot after about 3-5 minutes. spot on i think, worthy investment as I don't like wearing coat or jacket in the car whatever the weather.

Mine have never dropped down...is that a setting?

I thought the same about mine, but experiment shows it does drop to 2. Switch on at 3, leave it at 3, and as the temperature rises, and rises, and rises, eventually you reach the point where, just as your skin is developing a lovely crackling finish like a joint of pork and you can smell the bitter whiff of singed hairs, lo and behold, it drops to 2!
I think I'd always switched it down manually previously, before the safety thermostat cut in.

agree it does get pretty toasty before they cut out! checked again today to confirm. my commute is only about 30 minutes and i am not sure if they then kick back into 3 if the temp drops a bit. will check again on a longer drive this weekend.

Seats drop from 3 to 2 automatically after about 10 mins not sure if it is time or temp based. Bet it is the latter . In answer to original thread they do get quite hot from cold in as little as 4 mins or so
