I think the site looks great, very professional.
I'm not sure why people would need to register, could people not get quotes without registering but by entering some simple details?
Lastly, you say you only list the best mechanics. How do you vet them?

having to work to autodata times would put me off right away. having been on the road for 5 years i know what a horrible job it can be and if you are asked to do a job that takes you 4 hours, you charge for 4 hours, not the 15 minutes that autodata think it might take you.
so, who pays for the parts, do you supply them or the mechanic ? how soon does the mechanic get paid ? what about the customer that is never happy with any work, do you withold payment for how long ???
do you have any workshop experience ?

ok, so lets put this into practice. i am a customer and want a quote for a headgasket on a rover k series. i know its the gasket as i have oil and water mixing and steam from my header tank. i have looked online and am sure of it. so, how much ?
When you say "involved with" you mean it's your company?

I'll charge you £50 to tow it to the scrap yard for you. It's the best thing to do with a k series.

Guys great feedback! Thanks! In response:
- Danny Boy - Where do you have to register? We vet all our mechanics by checking they have liability and trade insurance. We also assess their work history to check they are suitable for the ClickMechanic network and also interview each one. Do you have any ideas on this?
- ZollaF - Interesting comments on the Autodata? Do many mechanics feel like this? The mechanic pays for the parts and keeps most of the parts margin. Mechanics get paid with in 5 working days. Whats your thoughts on this?
- MyCarisaVW - Yes your right. Im one of the founding team.
Thanks
Andrew
