A6 music interface

Hi.

I have just ordered a new A6 Avant, but as its a stock car it does not have music interface. The question is can this be fitted after? if so where can I get it fitted in Essex and does anyone have a rough price.

have a look through the c7 section - i think jon (a8 tech) may have cracked it!

Definitely can be. My dealer couldn't find a car with AMI for me and arranged for it to be retrofitted using the kit from Kufatec. As it was on the original invoice it is covered by the same 3 year warranty as the car. Took the guy about an hour to fit on my drive. The ipod connecting cables came from the dealer as they are not in the Kufatec kit. Would be worth asking your dealer if they can get it done for you as they may have a tame installer, got the impression from my dealer that it was very common for the dealer to get done, they were doing another one the same week my car was delivered.
