Hi, Well now i've sold my car i am looking to purchase an Audi A4 (B8) S line 170.
I know i want sat nav and B&O system, as for colour i just don't know.
Is there such colour as oyster grey? found an advert for a 3.0 tdi in this colour but picture was a bit dark but the colour still looked nice, has anyone got one in this colour?
Would love a 3.0 tdi but the pounds don't stretch that far.

there is an oyster grey but iirc its only available on the a6/8 - it was maybe lava grey?
see here Attention Lava Grey Club Membership (http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?93356-Lava-Grey-Club-Membership&highlight=lava+grey)
the 170 is a very good engine - lots of smooth power and when i had one for 5000 miles i averaged 51mpg (ish) over that period of 100% motorway
they also look great in ice silver

also had a 3.0 tdi a4 in ice silver along with the b&o sound system - sounded very good and well up to the job

just bought the 3.0 tdi - when i was looking there did not appear to much difference in price between this and the 170's. Also looking at ther real world MPG posts across the net there did not appear to be too much difference in MPG's :)

had mine nearly 2 weeks, hangs around 33mpg comuting to and from work which is 'a' roads and a fair amount of traffic, impressed so far ;)
that said if you give it the beans i guess it will drop a fair bit, overall nice to have the 'power' when needed but not bad mpg when not used.

You won't average 51. In fact you won't even average 41 unless you drive like a total gimp.

That was according to the long range computer in the dis as I reset it when I got the car.
I was doing 100% motorway, 100 miles per day.

Are you saying you drive like a gimp?

More like a tight git due to only putting £20-30 of diesel in the car as I had no idea when I was getting my car back so I didn't wanna fill the tank then give the car back the next day! ;)
