Had my Avant 2.0 tdi, nearly 3 years now, to say I'm disappointed with it is an understatement, got most things sorted under warranty but now out of warranty and things still going wrong. Latest is that a whirring/buzzing sound has developed from the fuel filler flap when I unlock the car using the remote. I'm assuming its the flap locking device which is working, but this is the first time its made these noises.
Anyone else get this?
Going to the dealers next week, yet again, for battery management issues, will ask them about it then, not looking forward to paying the bill.

Same here.
At 4 years old now and the list to date is disappointing (starting with a breakdown on day 9 of ownership). I also now have a failing filler cap and battery issues to contend with. I wonder will be next on the list....?
IMHO the B8's quality falls way short of Audi's premium image.
