Audi A4 B8 2008 1.8t 120bhp MPG? Just recently bought a A4 and the MPG is averaging 25 to 28. This is a combined cycle, does this seem correct?, Thanks

Seems quite low to me.I had a 2010 A4 1.8t 120bhp and was getting 35 - 39 MPG combined cycle.

Thats what I was thinking, any ideas what could be doing this? I don't think it is my driving cycle, because my Dad had the car while I was on holiday, and he was getting similar MPG figures, he does a lot more motorway mileage than I do.

Im not a mechanic but the first thing i would do is a service ,oil change ,air filter and plugs then take from there.
