Lava Grey..........but what shade?

I know this is a long shot but fingers crossed.

Some incompetent life-form has scuffed my rear bumper again (3rd time) but this time wet sanding it and a polish is not going to fix it :mad:

So entered the paint code into the database to find there are 5 shades of lava grey! So my question is what one is it, we had time to test one of the colours but it was far too red. Anyone in the know (B8 Tech) who could point out the correct mixture?

Which database did you enter your code into?

You should get the exact code from the data sticker in your spare wheel well.

Ohhhh major school boy error on my part, he wont be happy being degraded like that........all good now...he'll never know.

Im sure my dad got the code from there, at the time i was fitting my black grill so he could have got it from somewhere else....ill give him a call and if he says it was not from there ill be jumping for joy!

Gutted, it was the code from the spare wheel well :( but he has made another sample with less red so see how that looks when i get the time.

Do not know why but...going with the colour that has more red to be added actually darkened the mix and took away the actual red colour.... strange but all good now.

Sorry i missed a question you asked about the database. Dont know the name but its on his copmuter in the garage and i just brings up mixes
