Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my much loved 1998 afn 1.9 tdi, currently at 238,527 miles and still going like a train!
It appears that the right rear trailing arm bush is close to knackered, and having read the suspension section in the haynes manual....which shows or describes nothing about my problem, was wondering what is involved in replacing it, I am quite good at the mechanical side of things, as I have recently rebuilt the front end suspension.
Does anyone know of any tips or methods in removing/replacing said item?
I have two new bushes comming, and will replace both sides, I have not had a chance to check the link rods as yet but is it worth doing further work in this area whilst it is stripped down?
Many thanks in advance
Ian
