Hi let me start from the begining, replaced my spark plugs the other day and my car started running better as hoped but three days later its now running rough as hell on 3 clyinders . ive swap round the coils but the fault seems to be with number 2 pulled spark plug put back in tried a differnt plug but no joys any ideas??????????:zx11:

I can see it is a petrol engine but to know the year and engine type code would help.

its a 1.8t aeb . yes was bit oil on the old plugs when i changed them dripping out of the coils to. i had read few threads about the valve cover gasket and presumed it was that and was gonna do it on the weekend.

i rang about price for icm earlier as thought it might be that £150 new im gonna try get to a breaker's yard tomorrow and pick one up .
Glad you mentioned the icm as i had been think of that too but the price scared me off on just a hunch.

i wouldnt bet £150 but id bet a tenner at the scrappy
ive just spent roughly the cost of an icm deleting it and replacing coils with the latest type, so i no longer have an icm to go wrong!

spent over an hour the breakers every car they had with same icm as mine all gone not happy
