Have a 96 a4. Just put a AFN 110 bhp engine and other parts to get it running. After starting the engine it runs fine with no missfiring.
The problem is that ther is diesel ******* out of the fuel overflow pipes that come off the injectors and return to the pump. Removed the pipe going into the pump and there is fuel coming out of it, and it seems eay to much. Checked the return line from the pump to the filter and it seems to be returning to the filter ok.
So i have to questions, why is it fircing diesel up the return lines and why is there so much of it, would a block in the return line cause this? And even if it would why is there so much diesel?
Any help would greatly appreciated, learnt alot from this forum so im sure could help me :).
