Will A5 seats fit in an A4 B8?

I want to buy some leather seats for my 08 plate A4 B8, but the only ones on eBay and the like, seem to be for A5's at the moment.

Does anyone know if A5 seats 08 plate onwards would fit in an A4 08 plate?

Any advice / comment would be greatly appreciated!

Fronts should but backs probably wont due to the different body shapes. But check the fitment first.

I would be very cautious on this, if they mechanically fit the same seat tracks etc, you still have to get the airbag connections right, and seats with the right options for your car config..

Ive managed to find some A4 B8 seats now, so worry over! Like you said I think I could get away with the fronts but the backs and door cards would have caused some problems. Best to buy seats intended for my actual make a model!

Only problem with seats ive found are that they are s-line half leather, much prefer the full leather s-line seats.

Does anyone know how long it would take to strip and replace a whole interior?

I've never done it before, but have heard its a real ball ache!?

Yes they will. I just bought a complete leather s-line interior listed as A4 turns out to be A5 Perfect fit I had to remove one rear seat-belt buckle thats it.
