Hi.
My Central locking packed up some time back and finally got around to investigating it.
After locating the pump, I found that the relay's were stil clicking when I pressed the lock/unlock on the key fob but nothing was happening with the locks, which leads me to believe the Pump is gone.
I will have a go at fixing this myself, but cannot locate the exact same Pump (8L0 862 257 G) on the second hand market.
As I would like to get around needing to re-code the keys, I was hoping to swap out just the faulty components within the Pump.
Does anyone know whether or not I can use the components from any other Pumps to replace those in mine, and if so do you have part numbers?
Would be grateful of any advice on this even if it is to head for the nearest Main dealer........
