With all the rain this week my 2001 Allroad has started misbehaving. I've had two instances where a whole range of warning lights have come on starting with ESP deactivation, then ABS, then suspension height, then engine management flashing, car in limp mode. Pull over, switch off and restart and it's all cleared and the car's fine. It's a bit unnerving when it happens in the 3rd lane on a busy motorway in the rain!
I suspect a sensor or plug is getting wet and it's setting off a false alarm. I'm thinking maybe a brake sensor. Anyone know where/what the culprit might be and what to look for?
