I have a4 2.8
I need to replace the timing belt
The dealer is too pricey for me
I wanted to know where an which is good to use
I saw gate made timing belt is that a hood choice

Gates make good belt kits (make sure a kit is fitted, not just a belt) and fit a new water pump. To be fitted correctly the cams should be released from the pulleys so a cam locking bar and crank locking pin are vital.

Nice kit but I think I would not change the cam and crank seals unless they were leaking.

But would you go with this kit or you have somthing esle in mind

I only fit genuine cam belt kits due to the excellent VAG warranty but the kit you linked to looks fine to me.
