Any one experienced a permanent warning of coolant being low, wiggle wire and it goes away for a while... Sensor or wire? Common problem?

Try cleaning up the connector. Also scrape the sensor prongs in the tank with a screwdriver, they tend to get covered in crud

Cleaned up the contacts externally with contact cleaner and it went away for a day or two then it came back. Havent touched the inside of the botle. Debating shorting it at the tank end and seeing if it comes back... would tell me if its the wires or not. Seen a website in USA with a new connector and wires to splice into harness due to it being common over there? :S

Buy a new coolant header tank, it's only 20-30 quid from local dealer...

Scrape the prongs in the tank. They get furred up and then the current can't flow triggering the warning.

Seems strange that wiggling the wires makes it wrk for a while. Will investigate and let you know
