Paddle shift upgrade is it possible?

I have now spotted a car i like but it does not have the gear change on the steering wheel. I know this is trivial but it is something i would like. Is it possible to just swap to a wheel with buttons and recode it.

I dont like the wheel anyway as its got a wooden one. But will any a6 wheel fit an allroad or does it have to be allorad specific?

So i now have my new allroad. I have done a search to see just what options were fitted. It has shown that mine was fitted with a leather tiptronic wheel when new. It now has a non tiptronic wooden rimmed wheel which i want rid of as its a bit vulgar for my tastes. Does this mean that i can just get a tiptronic wheel and it will start working? How would i know if the wiring is actually there once i have got the wheel off? Any help would be appreciated.

Does any one have a tiptronic wheel that they might be willing to sell or swap for a wooden one?
